DOMAINE LES GARIDELLES

Who are we

LES GARIDELLES is a familial estate in the southern Ardèche, France. It covers 27 hectares, nestling between the Païolive wood and the hillside village of Banne. Our vineyard is fortunate in combining three very different terroirs: clay-limestone, schistose sandstone and ancient alluvium, giving us a wealth of aromatic expression. The soil between the rows is sown with broad beans and worked in the spring to keep it aerated and provide sufficient organic matter and nitrogen for balanced vine development. All our vintages bear the names of the grandparents and great-grandparents who worked these plots before us, and passed them on to us. These bottles tell the story of 4 generations of farmers.
