Who are we
The Domaine de Verchant, with over2,000 years of winemaking history, wasacquired on February 1, 1582, byBishop Pierre Samuel de Verchant.Today, it is a five-star property and amember of Relais&Châteaux, where wecontinue to uphold traditionalexpertise. Since 2022, we have beenmanaging 40 hectares of organicvineyards, including the original 16hectares and the recently acquiredChâteau des Mazes in Saint-Aunès.Located in the AOP La Méjanelle nearMontpellier, our vineyard benefits froma unique terroir of rolled pebbles and asunny climate with maritime breezes,providing ideal conditions forproducing exceptional wines.
