Who are we

For more than 70 years, Huîtres Hélie has been upholding an exceptional oyster-farming expertise in Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue, Normandy . Since 2023, the Petrie family has perpetuated this tradition while adding a touch of innovation , producing over 10 million oysters each year that are renowned for their exceptional quality in France and internationally.

We produce both fine oysters, Ad’Helie , and special oysters, Or’Helie , across oyster farms that span several dozen hectares—whether on tables, in cages, or in oscillating baskets. The diversity of our oyster beds, along with the combination of technologies, enables us to produce exceptional oysters that are regularly awarded at the Concours Général Agricole in Paris.

On the occasion of Seafood Barcelona, we are launching ‘easy-to-open’ oysters – Easy’Helie.
