VIGNOBLES DUBOURG
Who are we
In 1870, the Dubourg family, passionate about Bordeaux wine culture, set their sights on the vineyards of Château Nicot located in Escoussans. This is where the history of the Dubourg vineyards began. Nadine and Bernard Dubourg The 1960s marked the arrival of Bernard and his wife Nadine, the 7th generation of the Dubourg family. They brought a new lease of life to the estate's management, modernizing winemaking techniques while preserving the identity of each wine. In 1985, Château Haut-Pasquet, a neighboring property of Château Nicot, joined the estate. Nurturing a dream, they also acquired vineyards in the prestigious Saint-Émilion Grand Cru and Sauternes appellations. Château Maurins and Château Landion were then added to the Dubourg vineyards' wine range. Benoit Dubourg In 1995, their son Benoit joined them to continue the family tradition that began 150 years ago. He is now the manager of Vignobles Dubourg, which he runs with passion. Responsible for the cellars (cellar master) and the vineyard (vineyard manager), he manages the property's 74 hectares spread across nine appellation areas and oversees the creation of the 465,000 bottles that leave our cellars each year.
