DOMAINE DES MORIERS

Region: Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes

Who are we

Domaine des Moriers, located in Lancié at the heart of the Beaujolais region, was founded in 2018 from the shared passion for wine of François de Nicolay, a Burgundy winemaker, and Dominique Cor, a former executive in the digital industry. Their ambition: to craft authentic wines that respect both the land and local traditions. The estate spans 12 hectares, primarily planted with Gamay, and covers five emblematic appellations: Moulin-à-Vent, Fleurie, Chiroubles, Morgon, and Beaujolais Villages. Committed to organic farming, the founders champion sustainable practices that protect the environment and express the unique identity of Beaujolais terroirs. In April 2024, Pauline de Nicolay, François’ daughter, joined the estate to take over production. Her modern approach brings a fresh dynamic to the family legacy and strengthens the estate’s commitment to quality and innovation. Domaine des Moriers is the embodiment of a perfect balance between tradition, family heritage, and modernity, offering sincere, expressive wines that showcase the richness of the terroir and the iconic Gamay grape of the region.
