Who are we

Marseille Winery is the story of an incredible journey in the past, and the story of a creation: the story of the wine in France, are more specifically in Marseilles. Coming from Greece, Phocians created in -600 prior to J.C. Massilia, “the city of a thousand sources”, that became Marseilles. They carried with them a certain way of life and their wine-making know-how, which led to the inception of the first French vineyard. It is only four centuries later than Romans created other Gaul vineyard such as Bourgogne or Bordeaux.
