Who are we

The French Overseas Territories is a large economic, tourist and maritime area. It is France with all its diversity in the Indian Ocean, the Pacific and the Caribbean Sea. With its many strengths, the French Overseas has a lot to share with Japan. Japan-Outre-Mer is a concept to serve this ambition. Indeed, Japan-Outre-Mer is the expression of our will to make known and recognize the strength and the quality of the overseas destination through heritage, culture and economy in general. Our goal is to introduce in every possible way the overseas destination in all its territorial, cultural, economic and tourist diversity.
