CHAMPAGNE ANTHONY BETOUZET OUR HOUSE Champagne Anthony BETOUZET is first and foremost the heritage of a family know-how: Anthony learned the profession of winemaker working many years alongside his parents. He loves the beautiful terroir of the Marne Valley and exploits his vineyard using integrated, ecofriendly and small-scale farming methods. Champagne Anthony BETOUZET also symbolizes a taste for good and beautiful products with a touch of originality and audacity... Anthony and Emilie offer several collections of cuvées: beautiful vintage wines, balanced blended wines and limited series novelties. Always hungry of new projects and full of ideas, they work in collaboration with French artists to present their connoisseurs champagnes in pretty bottles. VINEYARD Anthony and Emilie run a vineyard of approximately 7 hectares located in Dormans, in the heart of Marne Valley, on clay- sandstone soil. They farm 3 grape varieties, which offers large blending possibilities: Pinot noir, Meunier and Chardonnay EXPERTISE • Cordon & Vallée de la Marne carving • Limited use of phytosanitary products: plough work of the soil, use of mating disruption • Harvesting by hand with selection of the most qualitative grapes • Riddling by hand on wood racks • Natural cork The family vineyard has both “Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne” and “High Environmental Value” certifications and is converting to organic farming.
