FROMAGERIE HENRI HUTIN

Who are we

Henri Hutin and his family began making artisanal cheese on their farm in the North of Meuse, France, in the early 1900s. After the war in 1922, Henri expanded the family business into a fromagerie and established himself across the region as a “Master Cheese Maker”. - In 1978 the Hochland Group (Germany) purchased the factory, but La Fromagerie Henri Hutin remains a family-owned company in spirit. La Fromagerie Henri Hutin is known for being an industry leader setting positive standards. In 2018, they were the first French Brie manufacturers to be certified VLOG non-GMO. In 2020, they implemented a photovoltaic field which produces energy to power the water treatment station. At the end of 2020, they began renovating and expanding their milk reception factory, with the goal of producing cheeses with a wider variety of milk while becoming more sustainable. All their cheeses are gluten free, certified VLOG non-GMO and are suitable for vegetarian diets!
