SCE Y FOUCARD ET FILS
Who are we
1937 : Camille Camallonga, wine producer and merchant settled in Algeria, buys the property of Château Chêne-Vieux, in the heart of the newly created Protected Denomination of Origin (PDO) Puisseguin Saint-Emilion. At that time, only 6 hectares are planted. His daughter Yvonne, after having inherited the property, acquires in 1963 the Château de Musset, about ten kilometers away, and its 7 hectares planted in PDO Lalande de Pomerol. Her sons Michel, medical doctor, and Jean-Yves, graduated from HEC, create the holding SCE Y. Foucard & fils when they got incorporated into the management, before taking the leadership together in 1988. They are now committed to passing on this heritage to the 4th generation, which in turn is involved in the management of these now 11 hectares in Puisseguin and 28 in Lalande de Pomerol. They supervise viticulture and vinification, take the main strategic and technical decisions, are in charge of the domestic and international marketing policy and, generally speaking, run the business.
