DOMAINE DU MONT VERRIER
Who are we
Domaine du Mont Verrier is a family-owned wine estate located in Saint Julien in the heart of the Beaujolais and South of the winemaking region of Burgundy. The wine growing activity dates back to the 17th century and extends over 40 hectares with three different grape varietal Gamay, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Resolved to respect biodiversity and the principles of sustainable development, we work our vineyards sustainably and our wine estate is certified as being of *High Environmental Value - HEV*. We take considerable care of the environment of our vines (no insecticides, organic fertilizers) and the vinification of our wines which are regularly awarded for their quality. We craft 9 different cuvées from a Beaujolais Pierres Dorées (Golden stones, the name of the specific soil) with no sulfites and from indigeneous yeasts, to the famous Beaujolais Cru Fleurie and Moulin à Vent and three cuvées of Burgundy wines (white Chardonnay and red 100% Pinot Noir).
