Who are we

Maison COQUARD is a family estate founded in 1881 and located in the south of the Beaujolais vineyard in the beautiful “Golden Stones” area. Christophe COQUARD comes from a long line of winegrowers and after working for three renowned wineries in California, New Zealand Villa and South Africa, he decided to ‘return home’ properly, to the family estate, and to channel his energies into livening up the Beaujolais wine scene. Since 2005, he offers high quality Beaujolais wines that express both heritage and innovation. With “flagships of Beaujolais” and an increasing part sold overseas, Maison COQUARD wines have a great growing potential on the export markets. The wines are regularly awarded and appreciated by wine lovers and Maison Coquard plays now a vital role in the revival of the Beaujolais region.
