CHÂTEAU LA HAYE
Who are we
Château La Haye is part of a long wine-growing tradition. The vineyard dates back to 1557, when Sire Janot Bernard, Lord of the Fief of Leyssac, acquired the property and planted the first vines there. The story goes that it was the hunting grounds of King Henri II and Diane de Poitiers during their hunting parties. The royal monogram H and D interlaced is thus engraved in the stone of the Château and now decorates the packaging of our wines. In 2012, Chris Cardon bought the property after having taken his first steps in the region on the occasion of the Médoc Marathon. The vineyard benefits from the exceptional terroir of Saint Estèphe.
