Who are we

Since 1826, the knowledge and know-how of the Medeville family has been transferred from generation to generation. The Medeville Collection now represents the culmination of 8 generations of expertise. The wines are a result of the careful selection by Arnaud Medeville from the best vineyards and grape varieties from our 180 hectares vineyards and différents cuvées from the best fresh terroirs. This selection is committed to presenting only environmentally friendly wines from vineyards with High Environmental Value, Environmental Management System, TerraVitis and Organic wines. In 1826, Jerome Medeville, a barrel maker in Cadillac, bought Château Fayau, «a monastery surrounded by twelve hectares of vines enclosed by walls and hedges. Over the subsequent years, the Medeville family grew in size by acquiring land and vines around Château Fayau. Each generation has since contributed its own knowledge to enable the growth of the chateaux. The meticulous and intelligent management of estates together with a deep love of the land, by the descendants of Jérôme and Numa, have resulted in vineyards that continue to expand and modernize. Today, seven generations later, it is Jacques, Jean and Marc Medeville who are continuing that tradition with passion, tradition and innovation taking the business forward. Chateau Fayau remains at the heart of the business, which now controls nearly 180 hectares divided into 11 Chateaux located on both banks of the Garonne. Wine lover and passionnate, Arnaud Medeville continues to looking for the best wines in the french region to find some rare and authentic wines. Always he is looking for the fusion of a terroir with the passion of the winemaker, in the same perspective of the Medeville family wines. The objectives of selection are: a good quality-price, substainable an authentic terroir coming from a French Appellation. Medeville Collection represents a complete range of Bordeaux Appellations, which will be extended in all the French regions.
