EARL RAFFLIN-LEPITRE

Who are we

Resulting from the union of two Champagne families, wine growers since the 18th century, the House Rafflin-Lepitre was created in 1971 by Jean-Pierre Rafflin and Dominique Lepitre. Their first wine was commercialized in 1984. Since September 2015 the new generation has joined to continue the family history in the heart of the Reims Mountain, in Chigny-les-Roses. Attached to the transmitted values, Emilie, Eric and Perrine develop the Vineyard habits and traditions and are engaged in a new process. Our grape variety enables us to develop diverse, fruity and gourmand vintage, all specific characters of a Premier Cru. Our champagne is commercialized after a minimum 3-year-resting on lees, which gets tertiary aromas progressively matured. Bordered by the Regional National Park, our vineyard extends on the North of Reims Mountain. Our parcels are in Ludes, Chigny-les-Roses and Rilly-la-Montagne and we grow Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay. Preserve and enhance our terroir is an objective we have aimed at for many years and we're glad to be certified Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne since July 2018.
