Who are we

Domaine Wach is a family business located in Andlau, a little town in Alsace (Bas-Rhin). From artisan coopers to artisan winegrowers, we cultivate the desire to do well on a human scale. We create great varietal wines on 9 hectares. A new burst of dynamism comes with the arrival of Pierre – 7th generation at the head of the estate – and his wife Jessica, a French-Canadian (Quebec) sommelier. The Vintage 2022 is the first which is officially labeled organic. The desire to find the logic inherent in the word Organic marks a fully thought-out conversion, in synergy with our steep vines. Wines with a dry character are in the spotlight. Passion and rigor are felt in the glass, where the wines are crystalline, and made for gastronomy. They find a coveted place on exceptional tables in France, various European countries, and internationally. We maintain excellent trade relations with Japan, Poland and Canada. At domaine Wach, the Grands Crus Moenchberg, Wiebelsberg and Kastelberg are express through Riesling. Respectively made from a terroir of marl-limestone, pink sandstone, and schist, these wines will dellight the most patient. Marketed three years after bottling, we make sure that the different elements are harmonious before you can toast. Riesling represents nearly 40% of our grape varieties. We like it dry, vibrant, and mineral. Also in a dry style, Sylvaner, Pinot Blanc, Muscat, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer and Pinot Noir dance in our cellar. According to our small structure, the different cuvées are available in a moderate quantites.
