DOMAINE DE LA PRESIDENTE

Who are we

Domaine de la Présidente is a family estate located in the southern Rhône Valley, in the village of Sainte-Cécile-les-Vignes. Going back to the 18th century, it is in 1968 that the Aubert family became the owner and developed the vineyard through generations. The vineyards of the estate are located in the appellation areas of Côtes du Rhône, Côtes du Rhône Villages, Cairanne et Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The 137 hectares of vineyards are planted on limestone clay soils, where a significant proportion of the vines are over 50 years old. The current winemaker, Simon Gauthier, undertook HVE level 3 certification, which was achieved as of the 2020 vintage. Our winemaking method reveals the diversity and richness of our different terroirs. The wines are aged in stainless steel or concrete tanks and our prestige cuvées are aged in new oak barrels for 8 to 12 months. The search for perfect maturity as well as the ageing process result in wines that express the full potential of each vintage. The estate's wines are regularly awarded prizes in local and international competitions and receive 90+ notes from the specialist press. We are looking for partners in several countries to represent our estate and to help promote wines such as cru Cairanne that is particularly worthful to us.
