Who are we

Located in Saint-Laurent-des-Arbres, in the heart of a vineyard classified in the Lirac - Cru des Côtes du Rhône appellation - the Domaine d'Arbousset is the result of meticulous work from the vine to the cellar. Family-run, independent and organic certified , this wine estate want to perpetuate its savoir-faire while respecting its values: Transmission, sustainability and creativity. The Domaine d'Arbousset is a family house that is part of a process of transmission. Having grown up in the middle of the vineyards, Gérald Lafont succeeded his father Yvon in 2003 and perpetuated the values ​​transmitted to him. Always on the lookout for new ideas, and animated since 2014 by the same spirit of perfection, he shares with Julie Rouffignac the desire to create wines bursting with sunshine and love. The years go by, the vintages follow one another… yet their wines are never the same! The freedom, the requirement and the capacity for innovation allow the couple of oenologists to produce exceptional cuvées. Together, they pool their know-how and hope to be able to pass it on to their two sons. They are expanding the estate in 2021 by planting on the prestigious Bellet appellation of the commune of Nice. They rely on ancestral methods to set up the vineyard with cleft grafting and a mass selection of the best native grape varieties. This was followed by the acquisition in 2022 of a plot of Châteauneuf du Pape and Tavel, completing this range of famous appellations.
