OLD PINEAU DES CHARENTES WHITE CHATEAU MONTIFAUD

A lovely blend of fresh grape juice and cognac , aged in cognac cask for many years. The Colombard grape gives persistence and delicate fruitiness. Ugni-Blanc gives finesse, elegance and a slight acidity. The marriage of these two grape varieties gives a perfect balance to the tasting where the aromas of dried fruits and almond mingle with a very honeyed side. Its frank and expressive attack, its notes of 'rancio' and nuts leave a lingering length in the mouth with a warm finish.
