FICT – LES ENTREPRISES FRANÇAISES DE CHARCUTERIE TRAITEUR
The FICT has 4 main missions:
Promoting the image and excellence of deli meat products from its members in France and worldwide. The FICT relies on the strength of the companies and the men and women working daily to embody the profession. To achieve this, the FICT develops programs to promote French deli meats abroad.
Providing companies with information and technical or legal support. The FICT offers its members scientific and regulatory monitoring, as well as legal support in commercial negotiations. It conducts scientific, economic, and image studies. Additionally, the FICT manages the Collective Agreement for the industry, negotiates agreements with employee unions, and defines the professional training policy.
Committing to helping businesses address environmental and societal challenges. The FICT is actively involved in addressing environmental and societal challenges that consumers are sensitive to, particularly in areas related to food, health, and production and breeding conditions.
Being the spokesperson for the profession with government authorities and the media. The FICT engages with ministries, French administrations, and European institutions to represent the common positions of the profession. It also speaks on behalf of the profession and its 300 companies in the media.
