Intervins Sud-Est
About us
Intervins Sud-Est « L’Interprofession des vins à Indication Géographique Protégée du Sud-Est » from the Southeast of France brings together producers (independent winemakers and cooperative cellars), merchants, and brokers from the Southeast wine-growing region to promote the IGP wines produced in this area. This collective promotion is carried out through communication, promotion, economic monitoring, Research and Development, and downstream quality control. We ensure the promotion of 9 IGP designations, which include:
7 departmental IGPs, spread across 4 departments (Drôme, Ardèche, Vaucluse, and Bouches-du-Rhône): Alpilles IGP, Ardèche IGP, Drôme IGP, Collines Rhodaniennes IGP, Coteaux des Baronnies IGP, Pays des Bouches-du-Rhône IGP, and Vaucluse IGP.
And two regional mentions: Méditerranée IGP, which covers the entire territory across 10 departments (Ardèche, Drôme, Vaucluse, Bouches-du-Rhône, Var, Alpes de Haute Provence, Hautes-Alpes, Alpes-Maritimes, Haute Corse, and Corse du Sud), and Comtés Rhodaniens IGP, spread across the departments of Drôme, Isère, Savoie, Ain, Rhône, and Loire.
The Méditerranée IGP designation :
Created in 1999, the Vin de Pays Portes de la Méditerranée became Vin de Pays de Méditerranée in 2007, evolving into Méditerranée Protected Geographical Indication in 2009. It was officially recognized by the European Community on January 1, 2015.
Intervins Sud-Est, the interprofessional organization for IGP wines of the Southeast, is responsible for implementing the communication strategy for the Méditerranée IGP and other regional designations:
