Origin: France. The unroasted roots of chicory (Cicorium Intybus) are very rich in inulin. Chicory is tonic and purifying; it also has prebiotic properties for the proper balance of intestinal flora.

Directions for use: Infuse 1 teaspoon of chicory roots in 1 cup of boiling water for 10 minutes; drink 1 to 2 times a day.
