Organic artichoke cut leaves (Cynara scolymus 100%)

Preparation:

Infuse one teaspoon of artichoke leaves in a cup for 10 minutes.

Artichokes have been consumed for centuries in ancient Egypt and Ethiopia. The leaves are rich in bitter active ingredients, such as cynarin, which explains the slightly bitter taste of the artichoke; This can be remedied by adding mint or lemon balm leaves to obtain a milder and more pleasant infusion.

Latin name: Cynara scolymus 100%, from the Asteraceae family (from the Greek "kynara": cardoon).

Common names: Artichoke, Cardoon, Spanish Thistle, Spanish Cardoon, Goldfinch, Wild Artichoke, Frame.
