Mortuary cold room

Storage of bodies at positive or negative temperatures is mandatory to slow down the natural decomposition process of the body after death. The body temperature is generally 37.2°C, after death, the body temperature gradually decreases until it reaches its environment temperature. The term refrigeration, or positive cold +5° to -5°C is designed for short-term storage which slows down putrefaction in the short term. The term freezing or negative cold 0° to -25°C is intended for long-term storage which stops putrefaction in the long term with an average temperature of -20°C. Our cold rooms are specially designed to meet the requirement of the storage for short or long term of the bodies in every post mortem environment. The envelop is composed of insulated panels designed for the construction of cold chambers to accommodate interior fittings for body preservation. These panels, with insulation from 60 to 150mm, are used for positive or negative cold chambers. They consist of 2 lacquered or stainless steel sheets covering a rigid, rot-proof polyurethane foam (density: 40 Kg/m³ minimum) Assembly is by interlocking the panels with an eccentric hook lock system, ensuring robust and perfectly insulated construction. Angles in extruded PVC profiles and injected polyurethane, the systems by itself protect from any loss of temperature from inside to outside of the room.
