Montebello Zenga Vieux 6 ans

Montebello Zenga Vieux 6 Ans is an agricultural rum IGP Guadeloupe. This cuvée takes its name from the Zenga rooster, the most vigorous of the barnyard, which holds all its opponents in respect. Indeed, the tradition of cockfighting is an integral part of Guadeloupean culture. This is what Montebello has chosen to pay tribute to here, the valour of these roosters being reminiscent of its intense and concentrated agricultural rums. This pure cane juice rum was distilled in August 2013. It was matured in oak barrels. These rest in metal containers that concentrate the heat, and thus the rum. After blending these barrels, the vintage was bottled in October 2020.
