Le Fruit Défendu Blanc, Vin de France, 2024

Le Fruit Défendu is Domaine Magellan's iconic range, named this way because of the grape Cinsault, unwanted in the Languedoc in the 90's : Domaine Magellan's vineyard was mostly planted with it. Le Fruit Défendu Blanc is a blend of 50% Colombard, 20% Vermentino, 15% Grenache Blanc, 10% Piquepoul and 5% Pinot Gris : a pleasant wine, easy to enjoy, with notes of citrus fruits, freshness in the mouth and a great aromatic brought by the Pinot Gris. Made to be enjoyed by itself or with seafood and fishes, with coriander for example!
