laser-guided infrared kitchen thermometer

Ref. : 3afad9de
Laser-Guided Infrared Thermometer for Surface Temperature Measurement

Designed for measuring the surface temperature of preparations, the infrared thermometer with laser sighting differs from probe thermometers in both its use and purpose.

Unlike probe thermometers, which measure the internal temperature of food or preparations, the infrared thermometer only measures surface temperatures from a distance.

Key Tips for Optimal Use:

It’s important to take ambient temperature into account before using the infrared thermometer. If the ambient temperature significantly differs from that of the product being tested, allow the thermometer some time to adjust before use. Pay attention to the distance between the thermometer and the product: the further the thermometer is from the item, the larger the beam and the less precise the surface temperature reading.

The laser-guided infrared thermometer is particularly recommended for working with chocolate, classic pastries, and any preparations that form a solid mass.

Important Note:
This thermometer should not be used with boiled sugar, caramel, or preparations that are at a rolling boil, as the steam produced will interfere with the laser, resulting in inaccurate temperature readings.
