Lahars Blanc
Ref. :

100% hand-harvested grapes, picked and transported in small crates.
Terroir: Auvergne. Vineyard located on a plateau at 450 metres above sea level, formed by volcanic activity from the Sancy Massif. The terroir is characterized by significant temperature variations and low rainfall due to the proximity of the Sancy mountains.
Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir grown on lahars (volcanic ash deposits) and pumice stone soils.
Winemaking: Gentle whole-bunch pressing, juice settling, followed by 4 months of ageing on fine lees in tank. Produced using the traditional method with zero dosage. Aged for 12 months on lees before disgorgement.
Tasting Notes: Bright, silvery appearance. Lahars reveals aromas of white-fleshed fruits such as peach, pear, and apricot on the nose. Fine, slow-rising bubbles. The palate is crisp and precise, with generous fruit expression, finishing on elegant bitter notes.
