The 3rd edition of the Food Experience Korea event, themed "French Picnic" was a resounding success. Hosted by the Agrotech Business France Korea team, this event took place on Monday, October 30, 2023.

The event unfolded in multiple stages, featuring an exhibition of French food products for professionals, culinary workshops, a press demonstration, the award ceremony for the best baguette competition organized by partner Le Pain, and a cocktail dinner in collaboration with other partners.

The exhibition, held at Seokparang, an ancient Joseon dynasty palace, showcased 9 exhibitors representing 13 French brands. It drew nearly 250 visitors from the F&B sector, including importers, distributors, chefs, pastry chefs, bakers, bars, hotels, industrial representatives, media, and influencers.

Concurrently, guests could attend various culinary workshops led by different chefs:

• "Characteristics of Paysan Breton butter and recipe creation," led by Mina KIM, chef and CEO of AinsiqueM.
• "Demonstration of baguette making," conducted by Tae-Eon IM, chef and CEO of Le Pain.
• "Artisanal expertise and the culture of French and international bread-making," led by Dominique ANRACT, President of the National Confederation of French Bakery-Pastry.

Simultaneously, another event took place, the finale of the LE PAIN BAGUETTE CHAMPIONSHIP 2023, a competition crowning the best baguette in Korea. Among the jury members was Mr. ANRACT.

Over 37 local media and influencers were invited to a private guided tour of the exhibition, followed by a speech by Mr. Matthieu LEFORT, Director of Business France Korea, and a press demonstration by chef Antoine CHASSONERY, Chef and Technical Director of the pastry department at Le Cordon Bleu Sookmyung Academy, in partnership with Le GALL.

Following the exhibition and press demonstration, organizers, media, influencers, and other visitors gathered in the Seokparang garden. Mr. Bertrand JADOT, the first Counselor of the Embassy of Korea, met with the French exhibitors and delivered the opening speech for the competition award ceremony.
