French Perfumery Shines at Exsence 2023, Leading the Global Cosmetics Export Revival

French perfumery continues to captivate the global stage, spearheading the resurgence of cosmetics exports. Standing out amidst the world's offerings, the sector asserted its prominence at the 2023 edition of Esxence, the premier global exhibition for niche perfumery.

 

Gathering momentum for its 13th edition in Italy this April, Esxence welcomed a robust presence from France, uniquely positioned as the sole national pavilion. Among the 26 participating companies, 10 made their debut appearance at the event, showcasing the country's innovation and expertise. French enterprises notably dominated the landscape, contributing to a total of 93 companies among the 298 exhibitors.

 

Supported by strategic initiatives from Business France offices in Italy, the United Arab Emirates, Poland, and Romania, these companies enjoyed heightened visibility. Half of them engaged in the "Fragrant Box" initiative, attracting visits from fragrance-focused influencers such as Instagram @sssinister_ and @perfumeofthemoon.

 

Buyers and distributors had ample opportunities to explore, engage with products, and establish connections, utilizing the Choose France Cosmetics platform, effectively functioning as a comprehensive catalogue to directly interact with the participating enterprises.

 

Despite concurrent events such as the Milan Marathon, visitor turnout surpassed expectations, reaching a record high of 10,300 attendees. Over the course of four days, a flurry of meetings and engagements unfolded, enabling numerous exhibitors to initiate market entries and cultivate new partnerships.
