Exception du Domaine de Saint Amand 2020

Deep black-cherry robe, ruby edges going on purple. Very intense,
limpid and bright, giving off an almost tactile sensation.
The first nose is profound and intense, bringing notes of black fruit
on a background of cocoa beans. Gently agitating the wine fully
reveals the complexity of the fruit, reminiscent of blackcurrant,
blackberry, raspberry, and blueberry liqueurs.
The attack is full-bodied and opulent on the palate, fresh yet with
lots of substance. A soupçon of vanilla on the baseline brings to
evidence a certain oakiness that is totally at the service of the
wine. Notes of pear sorbet and grilled almonds from time to time
punctuate the generous body of ripe fruit.
