French Innovation Corner - Overview
The French Innovation Corner is a unique showcase celebrating the creativity and excellence of French food innovation. Established in 2015, this competition takes place within the French Pavilion at Food Ingredients Europe, rewarding the most forwardthinking and impactful solutions presented by companies exhibiting under the France Pavilion banner.
Designed to boost visibility and strengthen the image of French expertise on the international stage, the initiative supports the Pavilion’s mission: to highlight the ingenuity, quality, and competitiveness of France’s agrifood industry.
For 2025, the French Innovation Corner will honour excellence across two major fields - Functional & Nutri-Functional Ingredients and Plant-Based, Natural & Clean Label Ingredients - underlining France’s capacity to combine technological performance, nutritional value and natural authenticity in products with strong international potential.
The 2025 winners will be announced during Fi Europe 2025, taking place from 2–4 December in Paris, and showcased on the France Pavilion (Hall 4 - 40D74).
Winner 2024 - “One Health” Ingredients
INGOOD BY OLGA – for its innovative fermented lentil powder LENGOOD® (14 points).
Specialised in the development of plant-based and functional ingredients that support the food industry’s transition toward more sustainable formulations, INGOOD BY OLGA has created LENGOOD®, an innovative fermented lentil powder made from French green lentils through a natural, solvent-free fermentation process.
Designed for the bakery and pastry sectors, it provides a natural, economical and clean-label alternative to eggs, offering all their functional properties—emulsifying, texturising and gelling - without affecting taste, texture or colour.
Gluten-free, non-allergenic and rich in protein and fibre, it improves the nutritional profile and environmental footprint of finished products, with a carbon impact 80% lower than that of eggs.
