Alsace, a paradise for food lovers
Alsace is characterized by a unique blend of French and German influences, which is reflected in its authentic and hearty cuisine. “Savourez l’Alsace” is an umbrella brand for Alsatian food and wine products.
Located in the northeast of France, between the Rhine and the Vosges mountains, Alsace is a crossroads of Romanesque and Germanic, French and German traditions. This duality is evident in the language, culture, and cuisine. Throughout history, the region’s borders and political affiliations have frequently shifted.
Today, Alsace is known for its picturesque landscapes, renowned vineyards, and generous gastronomy, with iconic specialties such as sauerkraut, tarte flambée, eggs with bacon, beer, kouglof, gingerbread… and many other classics.
The Regional Association of the Food Industry (ARIA Alsace) created and manages the umbrella brand “Savourez l’Alsace,” which already includes more than 4,200 Alsatian products, coming from over 100 local companies. This brand identifies food and wine products made in the region that reflect the quality and know-how of the local agriculture and food and wine industry. Its aim is to promote their distribution in Germany and abroad. Thanks to geographical proximity and similar food habits, Germany is the region’s main export market.

A group of nine producers under the "Savourez l’Alsace" brand, all members of ARIA Alsace, will carry out joint commercial actions in Germany throughout 2026.
