The first moments are marked by warm, spicy scents of pepper, maniguette (a very mild and sweet pepper) and cinnamon. Simultaneously, red mandarin diffuses its solar radiance and blends with ginger, in a harmony of freshness and warmth. The warm heart is made up of a major duo made up of orange blossom, called “neroli” and prolonging the sparkle of citrus, and opulent sambac jasmine. Already, the animal character of the Dragon begins to reveal itself and benzoin prints its noble mark of richness. The whole, always seasoned with cinnamon, is joined by a round of other spices, including clove and turmeric, and is adorned with a fruity nuance of davana. Osmanthus, apricot and leathery, combines with black oud and styrax to reinforce the animal dimension. Dominating the base, an oriental base of white sandalwood, patchouli, and amber notes gives roundness, character and sensuality to this rich fragrance. Virginia cedar combined with black oud and a touch of coffee together contribute to a subtle impression of smoke, evoking with the spices the fire of the Dragon.
