This original Sylvaner catches the eye with a beautiful salmon-colored robe, a result of subtle skin maceration made possible by the naturally dark skins of this rare red-berried grape. The nose reveals a floral bouquet delicately blended with aromas of dark fruits, leading to a crisp and mineral palate that is both refreshing and thirst-quenching. On the palate, a frank attack gives way to distinctive notes of quince, morello cherry, and damson plum. Crafted through slow pressing and traditional Alsatian vinification, this well-balanced wine is an ideal match for aperitifs, poultry, savory pies, or cold platters when served well-chilled between 8 and 10°C.
