The Pradel de Lavaux family is the owner of the manor on the right bank of the Bordeaux River. Its many outstanding manors are distributed in the heart of the production areas such as FRONSAC, SAINT EMILION and POMEROL. The most famous one is CHATEAU BELLEVUE-SAINT EMILION GRAND CRU CLASSE.CHEVALIER DU PRADEL was born in 1692 in UZERCHE, a small town in Correze, southwestern France.The fifth of siblings, instead of inheriting land and money, he joined the royal family to become Louis XIV's navy. He was dispatched to the Americas to the New World, tasked with finding a location for the South American capital of Louisiana, where he spent a major career.CHEVALIER DU PRADEL is a major French political figure in the Americas, helping the development of French-American relations, pacifying the local residents in the Americas, and opening a sea route connecting America and China from the west. He is recognized as a great peacemaker. This wine was created in his honor by the family of Pradel de Lavaux.The harvest is sorted and transferred into resin-coated cement vats equipped with a temperature control system.

Then ageing 18 months in oak barrels.The nose exhibits well matured red fruits aromas. In mouth, the wine is well balanced, fine and well structured. This is a lovely wine, pleasant and round.
