Château Trapaud Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

Located in the village of Saint Etienne de Lisse the soil of vineyards is rather poor with clay and limestones. The vinification is conducted in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats in order to keep all the freshness and finesse. Maturation takes place in old oak barrels that have been used for up to five years for 40% of the production and in new barrels for 30%. 30% of the production stays in stainless steel vats. Ageing of 1 2 months allows the wines to improve slowly. The wines are not fined during blending and we use tangential filtration.
