CHÂTEAU LAJARRE CUVEE ELEONORE AOC BORDEAUX SUPERIEUR 2018
In 1973, the Lovato family bought the château, which had belonged to the Duke of Lorge in the 18th century. The vineyard then took on its true identity with the acquisition of land, woods and the total replanting of the existing vines. In 2005, Mr Grégory Lovato decided to take over the management of the Château, which belonged to his grandparents. Mechanical harvesting, vatting for 30 days with temperature control by thermoregulation. Aged in stainless steel vats. The colour is ruby with garnet reflections. The nose is powerful with spicy notes (black pepper), nice woody notes slightly toasted with black fruit aromas. The fruit appears with notes of cherry and sloe. The palate is round and full, well balanced with a finish carried by small fleshy tannins with notes of Morello cherry. It is a racy, pure and long wine. Steak, grilled meat, dishes in sauce and cheeses.
