Château Haut L'Abeille Premium rouge

Chateau Haut L'Abeille 'Premium' red Bordeaux is a 100% Merlot wine (10-year-old vines) grown on a clay-gravel hilltop. Plots are vinified separately after a very meticulous mechanical and hand sorting of the berries, alcoholic fermentation is carried out at 28°C and followed by a 3-week vatting and malolactic fermentation in temperature-controlled concrete vats. The wine is then aged for 12 months in 1-year-old French oak barrels used for our Saint-Emilion Grand Cru and Lalande-de-Pomerol wines. (only 10'000 bottles produced). Tasting notes : this premium Bordeaux wine offers a complex and subtle nose of ripe fruit and toasted aromas, round and silky tannins in the mouth providing a great elegance.
