Clos du Roy is our emblem, located in the village of Saillans, overlooking the Isle Valley, in the heart of the most beautiful clay-limestone terroirs of Fronsadais, whose wines strive to express richness and complexity. Clos du Roy is a beautiful 19th-century Girondine home facing due south. It is backed by older cellars where barrel aging takes place.
The quest for balance between delicacy and power guides the precise choices made by our team. We strive to produce precise terroir wines, out of a blend of 25 year-old vines of Merlot and Cabernet Franc, grown in a sustainable way, placing low-intervention and biodiversity at the center to capture the uniqueness of our place, translated into timeless, expressive cuvées.
