Crozes-Hermitage is the biggest appellation of the Northern Rhône, where Syrah is the king. Cave de Clairmont reunites 9 families of producers, and is the smallest cooperative of France! It still independant and still family-operated. Les Palais is the heart of the range, 100% Syrah coming from the hills and the plateau near the rivers (with rounded pebbles). It is fresh and vibrant, notes of violet and mint, mouth full and balanced, complex, notes of black fruits with a touch of pepper, no oak but quite full-bodied. Perfect for stews, barbecues, comforting meals.
