Through a wide range of aromas, let each vintage tell its own story. Over 60 vintages continue to age in oak barrels whilst awaiting bottling.

Production & Ageing

A vintage Armagnac is made from grapes harvested in a single year. After distillation, the eau-de-vie is placed in French oak casks to age, where it matures slowly over many years. Over time, the wood, the air and the changing seasons shape its character. Each vintage thus develops its own distinct personality, reflecting the climate of the year and the patient ageing process it undergoes.
Unlike blends, a vintage expresses the uniqueness of a single harvest, making it a spirit particularly sought after by connoisseurs and collectors.

Why choose a vintage Armagnac?

Gifting or tasting a vintage Armagnac means choosing a specific year: a date of birth, an anniversary or a special memory. Each bottle thus becomes a testament to time and a unique gift idea for spirits enthusiasts.

Bottling & Storage

Our vintages are bottled as late as possible to prolong their ageing in wood and refine their expression. The bottling date is indicated on each bottle. Once balance is achieved, certain vintages are stored in glass: the Armagnac then ceases to evolve, but fully retains its character.

Remember to protect your Armagnac from fluctuations in temperature or light, which could cause it to deteriorate. Keep your bottle upright to preserve the cork. Vintage Armagnacs are spirits with excellent ageing potential that keep perfectly for many years. Please do not hesitate to contact us for other vintages or for cask-strength vintages.
