Production & Ageing

With a desire to showcase our most remarkable vintages, we have created the Heritage collection to highlight their diversity. The 2002 vintage stands out for its strong character, complemented by notes of liquorice and a hint of sea salt. An Armagnac that will delight lovers of expressive cask-strength spirits.

History

Every autumn, Gascon winegrowers set aside a portion of their precious harvest. Reserved for Armagnac, it is distilled and placed in oak casks for several decades. Thus, hundreds of vintages lie dormant, passed down from generation to generation, ageing out of sight. The assurance that, in times of difficulty, there is a nest egg at the back of the cellar. This is the tradition of the Armagnac nest egg.

Tasting & Moments

Amber colour with coppery highlights. Nose of caramel and liquorice. Round on the palate, with liquorice, honey and almond. Long finish with iodine notes.

Bottling & Storage

Our vintages are bottled as late as possible to prolong their ageing in wood and refine their expression. The bottling date is indicated on each bottle. Once balance is achieved, certain vintages are stored in glass: the Armagnac then ceases to evolve, but fully retains its character.

Do not forget to protect your Armagnac from fluctuations in temperature or light, which could cause it to deteriorate. Keep your bottle upright to preserve the cork.
