ALIENOR

This wine is dedicated to the memory of the Duchess Alienor of Aquitaine, Queen of England, who was one of the great figures of the Middle Ages. Intelligent and cultivated, we owe the introduction of courtesy. Grapes 85% Sauvignon, 15% Semillon Soil : sandy clay Vinification Harvested by machine, grapes are sorted and de-stalked before being gently pressed. Then juice undergoes a traditional fermentation, left on lees for in small stainless steal vats, under temperature control process. Traditional and careful vinification with particular attention paid to every step of the wine making and blending in order to get a quality wine which has excellent continuity of style.
