2-Ethyl Hexyl Palmitate (EHP) is produced from palmitic acid derived from vegetable oil and 2-ethyl hexyl alcohol. Colourless oily liquid It is composed of 2-ethylhexyl esters of a selected mixture of fatty acids, containing mainly palmitate ester, together with lesser amounts of myristate and stearate.
